Gateway Tykes on Trykes
Gateway Tykes on Trykes is the St. Louis chapter of AMBUCS™, a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating mobility and independence for people with disabilities. Our mission is to help children and adults experience the joy of riding a bike, giving them new ways to play, exercise, and connect with others.
Thanks to Amtryke® therapeutic tricycles, people who aren’t able to ride a traditional bike can discover the freedom and excitement of cycling. Most trykes are purchased by volunteer members and donated at no cost to families in need.
Our local team includes physical and occupational therapists, mechanics, and community volunteers — all working together to bring smiles, confidence, and independence to children across the St. Louis area.

National AMBUCS, Inc. is a nonprofit service organization made up of a diverse group of people dedicated to creating mobility and independence for people with disabilities.
Members are actively involved in community service and work to provide Amtryke adaptive tricycles to individuals who are unable to ride traditional bikes.
